Color

Reducing the color on my phone has made my phone feel less addictive. Most configurations I’ve seen remove all color (greyscale), which I find too extreme. Instead, I’ve opted to remove some color (desaturation).

Set up color reduction

  1. Navigate to Settings > Accessibility > Display & Text Size
  2. Set Increase Contrast to "on"
  3. Set Differentiate Without Color to "on"
  4. Tap Color Filters
    1. Choose Greyscale
    2. Set the Intensity to taste. I set it to about 75% (this removes 3/4 of the color)
